Rathowen Building is a Main Contractor based in Swords and have been trading since 2008. We have established a strong reputation in delivering high quality residential homes. We are a construction company that focuses on delivering our clients expectations whilst protecting our reputation for delivering value, quality and safety on all our projects. At Rathowen Building we have a strong history, experience and expertise of building residential homes throughout Leinster. We have worked with some of Irelands top developer's and client's to deliver quality houses on time and to the highest standards whilst building Sustainable Communities.
Headed up by Conrad Haughian who has over 40 years’ experience in the Irish construction industry. Conrad has a strong focus and commitment to H&S on site and this is reflected in our H&S statistics. Conrad has ultimate responsibility for the delivery of finished projects to the satisfaction of the Client and Design Team.
Our Projects
Millers Glen, Swords
680 Units - Millers Glen, Rathbeale Road, Swords, Co. Dublin. Units incorporated a Low energy design achieving a BER rating of A2.
Sports Clubhouse & Changing Rooms
Construction of four changing rooms with showers, slatted timber beech seating to all, two large WCs, disabled WC, cleaners store, two gear rooms, meeting office, staff room with kitchen and referee’s room.
Social Housing
Multi-Occupancy Unit consisting of 14nr units with the Approved Housing Body of the Iveagh Trust were the end-user.
Refurbishment & Fire Safety Upgrade
Works involved the refurbishment and fire safety upgrade of 67 nr apartments.
Residential Flat Roofing
The work on this existing residential development involved stripping the existing roofing material and replacing it with a new PLUVITEC system.
Housing Upgrades
Works consisted of minor repairs, upgrading and re-roofing of houses along with re-decoration inside and out, new windows, carpet, external works and deep cleaning.
380 Houses
Construction of 380 Homes for Gannon Homes, Architect: was Conroy Crowe Kelly and Civil & Structural Engineers Waterman Moylan.
Change of Use Commercial to Residential
Commercial block in where the commercial space was converted into 30nr, one, two & three bed Apartments for the BTR market.
Fire Safety Upgrade Works at Clongriffin
Consisting of: Fire safety upgrade, fire alarm upgrade, all new lighting. New boilers and flues, new heating controls and heating system renewal.
